John is a Chartered Accountant with 20 years experience working in the industry. He joined Covino & Co in 2006 and has been in the role of Team Leader for the previous 6 years.

John has extensive experience dealing with a diverse group of clients in a range of industries from building and construction, property, real estate, restaurant and hospitality, retail & professional services.

He has developed a broad range of skills and knowledge that enables him to help clients achieve their business goals and achieve the best outcomes for tax. This includes advising on:

• Income Tax, GST & CGT
• Payroll Tax & Workcover
• Stamp Duty
• Land Tax
• Business structuring including companies & trusts
• ATO compliance and managing ATO audits
• SMSF

Outside of work John enjoys sports, in particular footy and cricket. John was treasurer of his cricket club, Old Ignatians Cricket Club for 15 years.
